Estimate units from your bill, then rooftop area (about 100 sq ft per kW as a rough check). South-facing unshaded roof wins; water tanks and parapets steal yield.
Net metering, subsidy paperwork, and structure warranty (wind load) decide bankability more than a 0.2% efficiency difference on the datasheet.
