Plaster

Plaster levels masonry, protects surfaces and prepares for paint or other finishes. External plaster faces weather; internal plaster prioritises finish and often thinner coats.

• Typical cement plaster thicknesses are project-specific (often in the 6–20 mm band depending on substrate and coat).

• Gypsum plaster systems follow manufacturer thickness and substrate rules.

  Hydraulic binder used in concrete, masonry mortar, plaster and screed. Bagged OPC/PPC grades are common on Indian sites.

• Sand

  Fine aggregate for concrete, mortar and plaster. River sand and manufactured sand (M-sand) are both used — grading and silt content matter.

• Paint

  Decorative and protective coatings for interior and exterior surfaces. Coverage (m²/L) and coats drive litre estimates.

• Brick (clay / red brick)

  Fired clay units for masonry walls. Modular and traditional sizes exist; mortar joints and openings drive quantity.

• AAC blocks

  Lightweight autoclaved aerated concrete blocks for walls. Larger unit size and thin-bed mortar change labour and adhesive estimates versus clay brick.
