Waterproofing

Waterproofing is a system (surface prep, coats, detailing at drains and junctions), not a single coat of paint. Failures usually start at details — pipes, corners and outlets.

• Retaining walls and basements (specified systems)
• External wall treatments where required

• Follow manufacturer coverage (kg/m² or L/m²) and number of coats.
• Detail upstands, drains and pipe penetrations explicitly.
• Flood tests are common acceptance checks for wet rooms and terraces.
• Compatibility with tile adhesives and overlays must be confirmed.
