The 2026 Toyota Hilux VX 4WD is the higher four-wheel-drive grade of the India facelift, launched on 28 July 2026. It keeps the 2,755 cc turbo-diesel (201 bhp, 500 Nm) and six-speed torque-converter automatic, with a terrain selector. Over the GX it adds a 12.3-inch infotainment screen, eight speakers, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a wireless charger, keyless central locking, push-button start, power mirrors, hill-hold, cruise control, traction control, direct tyre-pressure monitoring, a 360-degree camera and a PM2.5 cabin filter. Climate control stays manual and there is no sunroof. It is a five-seat double cab (5,320 × 1,855 × 1,815 mm, 3,085 mm wheelbase) with an 80-litre tank, about 500 kg payload, seven airbags and an ANCAP five-star rating.
